Text recognition (OCR)
Enable external module loading (OCR)
Off by default. When on, Tesseract.js and its English model are
fetched from jsDelivr the first time you run OCR; the image is still read locally and never uploaded.
OCR reads English screenshots only.
Privacy note
All image processing runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Records and theme settings stay in your browser (OPFS + localStorage).
This page uses the following:
- Font Awesome 7 Kit (kit.fontawesome.com) — icon web fonts, CSS and loader script (sole external resource).
- Origin Private File System (OPFS) — stores your saved records on this device.
- Canvas — measures the bars and crops the index photo.
- Clipboard — copy result / paste image.
- Compression Streams — build and read the export ZIP entirely in-browser.
- Service Worker — caches the app shell (Cache Storage) so the app installs and works offline; no tracking, no network calls to us.
- Tesseract.js OCR (opt-in, off by default) — when enabled, the library and its English model load from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) the first time you run OCR; the image is still processed locally and never uploaded.
